Baptism
The Sacrament of Baptism can be administered at either church. If you would like your child to be Baptised, please complete the Baptism application form, and return it to church. Notes to help with the completion of the form are attached here. For any further information, please speak to either Fr Michael or Deacon Jim after any Mass.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at St. Jude’s on Saturday between 4.45pm – 5:15pm and on Wednesday between 6.15pm – 6:45pm.
Holy Communion
The regular Mass times for the parish are displayed on the home page. Please check “Latest Newsletter” for any changes.
Children in year 4 and above are invited to prepare throughout the year in order to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation & 1st Holy Communion in May. Enrolment for May 2026 is now closed. Applications for May 2027 will likely be available from June 2026.
Interested in becoming a Catholic as an adult? The RCIA is the liturgical and catechetical process designed for adults attracted by Christ and his teaching. It supports adults as they seek to respond more deeply and to enter into the Communion of the Church. For more information see the Archdiocese of Liverpool website. Confirmation
The Archdiocese confirmation program is run by Animate. Anyone currently in year 8 (or above) can register at: Liverpoolcalled.co.uk. Registration for 2026 is now closed, registration for 2027 is likely to open in September 2026.
Marriage
The Sacrament of Marriage can be administered at either church. For an appointment to discuss marriage preparation please call Fr Michael on: 01942 393485 or see him in church after Mass.
